- Amount or nature of the donation if not in cash
- Certification that the receipt is issued for the purpose of Section 18A and that the donation will be used exclusively for approved activities
- Unique receipt number
- Nature of the donor (e.g., individual, company)
- Donor identification type and country of issue (if applicable)
- Identification or registration number of the donor (if applicable)
- Income tax reference number of the donor (if available)
- Contact number of the donor
- Electronic mail address of the donor
- Trading name of the donor (if different from the registered name)
Receipts must be issued in the year when the donation is received and are subject to annual review by SARS.
